Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were big, offered great value for money with a good view, and had all the facilities needed. I truly enjoyed seeing the different historical items. Although the room was small, there is seating outside if it's warm enough.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were nice with separate beds, but unfortunately, they were situated near noisy construction which lasted until late evening. On the bright side, the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant.
The hotel's location is ideal, close to wonderful views at the river, yet the rooms were small without internet availability and felt cold at times. The bathrooms were clean with baths. The service was top-notch, despite a transfer to another hotel due to a booking error. The staff was helpful, welcoming, and friendly. The dining experience offered a variety from bacon, scrambled eggs to croissants and jam, but more choices would have been appreciated. The price was great for the location, with easy access to the city center and attractions.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, though simple and equipped with everything we needed, suffered from poor soundproofing, as we could hear noise from construction workers below. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The location was excellent for exploring the city but had some minor issues with housekeeping. The dining options were decent, but the breakfast left something to be desired.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a touch of vintage charm, but the distance from the city was more than expected. The service was lacking in some aspects, like delays in answering calls and turning off the air-con abruptly. The location was a highlight, allowing easy exploration of Porto, although the dining options were average. The facilities were decent overall.
Our stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms offered a spacious and comfortable stay with a lovely view overlooking the street and a massive double bed, but we had to endure an unbearable banging and shaking noise from construction works just below us. The service was excellent with a friendly and helpful staff going beyond expectations in these changing times. The location was superb, central to all the attractions in Porto but could get a bit crowded. Unfortunately, the dining experience was not the best, with a cramp room and limited options available.
